Extreme precipitation events can lead to disastrous floods, which are the most significant natural hazards in Mediterranean regions. Therefore, a proper characterization of these is crucial. defined as annual maxima be modeled with generalized extreme value (GEV) distribution. Owing spatial heterogeneity, distribution extremes non-stationary space. To take non-stationarity into account, parameters GEV viewed functions covariates that convey information. Such may implemented linear model (GLM) or more flexible non-parametric non-linear such an artificial neural network (ANN). In this work, we evaluate several statistical models combine GLM ANN for interpolation parameters. Key issues selection complexity level (i.e., number hidden units) and covariates. Three sites included our study: region French Mediterranean, Cap Bon area northeast Tunisia, Merguellil catchment central Tunisia. The comparative analysis aim at assessing genericity state-of-the-art approaches interpolate events.
